EVALUATION TASK 2
How
does my media product represent different social groups?
The little girl is a young child so she would have been a student (In her last two years of primary school or maybe starting her first year in high school) when she was alive but she wouldn't be employed due to her age, therefore, she would represent 'Group E' which consists of students, old people, Unemployed and lowest grade occupations. The kind of people who would struggle in the world on their own, which is exactly what the little girl is doing.
The antagonist on the other hand - Her father - He would have worked in a well paid job before he turned on his family. So for those reasons, he would represent one of the following groups- 'AB' which consists of Higher & intermediate managerial, administrative, professional occupations or 'C1' which consists of Supervisory, clerical & junior managerial, administrative, professional occupations, this is because his character, although he's blacked out, he is wearing black suit, shirt and tie which is the sort of thing he would have worn to work.
Before he turned on his family, the antagonist would have been a sweet and loving father and husband who was very well paid (As you would discover later in the film) which emphasized the fear factor for those who are looking to have kids in the future.

Health
and safety information!
What could have happened;
- We had a knife with us as one of our props so we had to be extra careful when handling it around each other- we kept the knife wrapped up in a tea towel and in the bottom of Daina's bag when we were not filming Tyler with it.
- The ground was wet and soft so anyone could have slipped over and we were all practically sinking into the ground so we had to mind where we stepped but it wasn't that bad
- other than that there wasn't really any safety issues aside from pure clumsiness.
We gave permission slips to the actors for them to fill out and give contact details in case of any accidents.
OUR PRODUCTION COMPANY LOGO!
We chose to call our company 'Archangel' because it relates to how the victims of our horror films are protected at certain points by the previous victims because angels are considered to be guardians, but also because when good people die (Like the little girl's mother in Hunted) People believe that they turn into angels and as we specialize in paranormal horrors, we though it would be fitting to call our production company something which relates to that. An archangels roll is actually to rid the world of sin so we decided to use this as one of the characters in our first film, Hunted, has sinned, but which one is it?
We chose to have the letters in this scratchy black font because it reflects on the dangers that our characters face in our films. It also helps to show that it is a 'Horror' production company and this kind of writing is commonly used for horrors and finally the wings connect to the name of the production company.
The only colours/tones we have used are red, black and white - The three main colours for horror.
Black- bleak, dark, death, decay...
Red- blood, pain, anger, power (Antagonist)...
White- Purity, Innocence (Victims) or just to lour the audience into a false sense of security.
